Week 22

Personal Update
Rhyin has become this crazy little active critter who is constantly moving, still not visible or felt outside but hopefully soon.  This past week I have had crazy hip pain, I have resorted to tryin to sleep on back at an incline when the pain gets to bad.  Over the weekend I woke up 4 times from the pain only to roll to the other side and be awoken two hours later because that hip was no hurting.  I hope it goes away soon!!  Our doctor called an wants us to schedule our next ultrasound for the first week in March.  So here's hoping and praying that the fluid is at least the same if not better.  I got to go swimming this weekend which was really nice, I think its something i'm going to have to look into when i'm 7 or 8 months along.  That's about it for this week.

At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers her body and the deep wrinkles on her skin, which she'll sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

  1. I hope your hip pain gets better and I am glad to hear that everything is coming along fine. I informed Christopher of your name choice, trying to keep him in the loop on things so he doesn't feel left out. When is your due date again? Talk to you soon!---Kendra
