28 Weeks

Ok sorry i've been so behind with this.  Honestly i hate writing so this is not my favorite thing to do, which is why i have a VLOG on youtube as well.  I update better on there,  but i know some people would rather look at this so I do both.  We had another ultrasound to check the fluid and it is now at a 14, it just keeps getting better!  We have more ultrasound picutres i'll put those in another post.  We also went to Michigan for Easter and had a lot of fun, we got started on thr nursery and i'm excited to see what it looks like when we're finished.  I also had a doctor's appointment on Monday and they said everything looks good but as a precaution in case they would need to deliver early they want to give me a shot of Betamethasone to mature her lungs.  She did stress that she doesn't think that we will need to deliver early but she'd rather be safe just in case.  So i go on the 16th to get that shot, and then on the 19th we get to have our 4D ultrasound.

By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
